There was the need to reduce the perforating time in order to speed up the production process.
The technical-productive department needed to implement a perforated system that would allow speeding up and automate the perforation process.
Rotary cylinder perforation system: This innovation consists in being able to make a round hole, removing confetti, along the entire width of the cylinder, for paper perforation. This system was born taking inspiration from continuous-form printers (that perforated only on the sides).
Virax Borghi was the first company to produce punched holes with a rotary cylinder perforation system, considerably increasing production speed. Before Virax’s innovation, micro-perforated paper was made using artisan technologies. This paper is for those who use automatic cutting to move the carpet to be cut.
